COVID ALERT LEVEL 1:

If you have any of the following symptoms DO NOT ENTER THE CLINIC– RING FIRST.
COVID-19 symptoms include:
- -new or worsening cough
- -fever of at least 38°C
- -shortness of breath
- -sore throat
- -sneezing and runny nose
- -temporary loss of smell.
These symptoms do not necessarily mean you have COVID-19. The symptoms are like other illnesses that are much more common, such as colds and flu. Shortness of breath is a sign of possible pneumonia and requires immediate medical attention.
Less common symptoms:
- -diarrhoea
- -headache
- -muscle pain
- -nausea and vomiting
- -confusion and irritability
At Alert Level 1, everyone must continue to do their bit to keep New Zealand COVID free.
- -Stay home if you’re unwell and get tested
- -Sign into places using the NZ COVID Tracer app, and
- -Practice good hygiene (includes washing your hands often and coughing into your elbow.
TAUPO COVID19 TESTING STATION UPDATE
The Taupo Covid19 Testing Station at 79 Miro Street is open this week as follows:
Monday -9.00am to 3.00pm
Tuesday- 9.00am to 3.00pm
Thursday- 9.00am to 3.00pm
Sunday- 9.00am to 3.00pm
From the week beginning the 15th March the hours will return to Tuesday, Thursday, Sunday, 9.00am to 3.00pm.
